Here we are outside our house at about 9:15am on Sunday.
Beautiful sunny day in the 60s.
Couldn't ask for better weather to join a church in.

Phyl and Wilma pose
just outside 1st Congregationalist Church at 9:30am. From here
we all went
into Rev. Ken Bickel's office/study and chatting with 2
couples who were joining the
church also. It was a way for everyone to get to know one
another.

At one point in the
service, towards the end, Rev Bickel asked the new members and
their sponsors
to come to the front. Doug and Karen Horstman, our friends and
neighbors, sponsored Wilma.
Just for the record, I was told not to take pictures inside
the church. Other people were. So, I
quickly snapped this one. Look carefully and you can see Wilma
on the right, at least part of her green dress.

Reception line
afterwards...

There was a 2 hour
special luncheon at which everyone had to say something about
themselves. Then photo
time in the garden. Nice. Here's Rev Ken Bickel.

And Phyllis.

And Sally with Ken.
