Down the road from Meenaleck in Doire na Mainseir, pronounced dur na mancha, is a bridge known to the locals as the ramper, but also known as the wee bridge. Here you can fish for salmon and some other fish. This is a view from the wee bridge. It is nice to walk down and look at the rushing waters.
This is yet another view of the bridge. It is fun to ride down to it, as you see someone just did. This is the lake right next to the turbine where electricity is generated for some of the surrounding area.
This is the stream that the wee bridge goes over. It empties out into the lake where electricity is generated. Here you can also go fishing for salmon which are making their way back to where they were born.
