Sunny in Dubuque, after a
night of rough thunder storms. A bit of the sun. Grandma and
Rachel are with us. Thanks for the photo, Jim. Some serious
foreshortening, though.

We have a few carry-ons. And
loads of checked baggage. How many shoes, Meg? And we
wrapped the new strimmer.

Of course, while the
"rest" of us waited in sweaty, nasty crowds (well,
hardly) - Grandma and Phyl were escorted into the First
Class Lounge. Food, drink and newspapers. Nicest thing,
though, is the calm and quiet.

Phyl and Wilma after shopping in
Dungloe. Time for a pint yet?

Look who's in the Off License
reading a Smithwick can? Hmmm. Wilma's nasty son-in-law
can't be trusted with a camera, of course.

The Carrickfinn beach (tra) by
the pier. About 10:30pm. A bit cool but oh so beautiful.

Can't go anywhere without a car. So here we have an old 1989
Volvo, in which we jammed in 7 people. Whew.

Everyone got into the
act...photo with Mt. Errigal.

Sun and shades with Carly,
Eliot, Phyl and Wilma. The games at Dunlewey...

The crew walked to Dungloe from
the SuperValue while I met with Dodo. June 21.

Well, Grandma is a friend. She seems to like the rocking
chair, like daughter like mother. I think she is ordering
her son-in-law around. "Bring me my TEA!!!"

Sewing on a day that rains and
then sun and the rain and then sun...

Grandma sewing. Again. Actually,
it's needlepoint. I wonder what the design is.

Grandma sews, Meg and Rachel veg-out.
Our living room. That's Eliot's neck.

Sewing, sewing, sewing on a warm day, at least warm in the
bay window room.

Grandma sewing while it's sunny
outside.

Grandma having a football
special? No. But her pose is convincing. Lunch at the Bloody
Forelands Hotel.

Grandma amongst the rocks.

Just a great day on our Picnic
Rock. Sun and sea. And picnic, of course.

Couldn't have had a better day
for the picnic. Thanks for the stuff in the bag...including
Roses.

In Dublin, dinner at Botticelli's. Group shot outside.

We stayed at the Stella Maris in Dublin. This is what Wilma had
to look forward to every day. Up 2 flights....and down 2
flights.

Group shot in front of the Stella Maris. It
was a sunny day on Friday, June 30, when we did our tour of
Dublin City.
Eliot flew to NY and then on
to Prague and Israel on July 1. On Sunday, July 2, Phyl, Meg and Carly walked
down to Parnell Square to take the McGinley Coarch back to Crolly. It left at
12:30pm and arrived at 6pm. Wilma and I took Rachel to the airport. We got her
checked in. We were allowed to go thru with her. I got Wilma and Rachel into the
1st Class Lounge for some quiet time (Coke, biscuits, tea and great coffee too).
Got Rachel through immigration and said our goodbyes. Sad to see her go, but I
think she was ready to see her Mom and Dad and Ty and sisters, again. Our
landing back to Meenaleck was great. Sunny and warm. No rain. Beautiful!!!

Our newly painted house: celtic
green.

It was a great, smiley day for
everyone.

Grandma and Phyl worked all day cleaning up the house for the Cottrells, Iz Katz
and Elouise, and Mary. Just beautiful. The house wasn't bad either.

Dinner at Patrick and Caroline McFadden's B&B. 32194. WOW. Cream of chicken
soup, Irish stew with cauliflower and potatoes, followed by apple tart dessert.
Here with Phyl, Betty and Bob.

Just after dinner, Iz and Eloise went to bed. I drove everyone else around
Bloody Forelands. Here Bob prays after dinner for a minute. Iz took this
picture. I wonder what Wilma is grinning about.

The final dinner meal with the group was at our house. Phyl and Wilma did ALL
the cooking and arrangements.

We had Hugh and Liz over as well.

Everyone sits and listens as Phyllis tells one of her great jokes. Well, the
wine was good at least.

On July 24, Wilma came down to the bog with Hugh, Meg, Carly, Phyl, Alan and David
to help toss turf into the tractor. We took up 7 loads in 3 hours.

Toss, Wilma, toss.
 Phyl
and Carly get into the act of tossing turf.
