Cleanup starts at home. Here Meg and Rachel scrub the floor
of our spacious kitchen. Well, it's a kitchen. Don't ask me
WHY they seem to be smiling and enjoying themselves. Must be
the newness of being back home in Meenaleck.

Grandma sews, Meg and Rachel veg-out.
Our living room. That's Eliot's neck.

Here Mom enjoys being back home
here. Rockin' in the Queen's Rocking Chair.

Tidy Town Day. Saturday, June
17. Eliot cleans the lane by our house. This section is
across from Eugene's and beside Tom's.

Carly got into the swing of
things. Strimming down our lane.

Painting...lots of helpers.

Painting...lots of helpers.

Meg and Rachel painting. Thanks, girls.

Of course, you should have seen their hands and
clothes. But some paint actually DID get on the house.

Eliot took to strimming and scraping the old paint on the house. Here
he's strimming the thick thatch in our "lower 40" before we can properly fix the rock garden.

Painting...and enjoying it. Sort
of.

Sewing, sewing, sewing on a warm day, at least warm in the
bay window room.

Grandma sewing while it's sunny
outside.

Creating a new viewing
garden...a rose bush.

And then it started to rain.
Hard. I'm trapped.

Rachel made a basket.

Meg made a basket, too. Thanks
Mom for showing us.

Meg and Phyl paint white on the
house. Phyl looks, Meg paints.

Meg looks, Phyl paints. Called a
system.
