Dubuque2Meenaleck...We left Dubuque on June 13, 2000. Sunny day after 5 hours of thunder storms. Jim and Rachel's Grandpa drove us. Then... we took off for Dublin.
Meenaleck Cleanup...All the work that we needed to do to prepare the house. After two years, it needed lots to clean up. Big time - we finished the second floor. All done.
Traveling Around...Our travels. Lots of pictures, lots of fun. All over Co. Donegal. The best part of Ireland, of course. Mt Errigal in the back. Family in the front. The scenery always changes...
Outside in Ireland...There's nothing like Ireland out-of-doors. All the green. The mountains. Bonfire Night. The fresh air. The beautiful summer months with long days...
Dungloe, Dunlewey, Gweedore and other places...Off to Dungloe, Dunlewey, Gweedore, and other villages. Explores and errands. All enjoyable. Here Meg and Rachel are clowning around in Gweedore. Picnic Rock.
In Dublin's fair city...Our time in the "big city". Eliot takes off for NYC and then Israel. Talk about a ton of jet lag. Rachel returns. Not a hotel room to be found over June 30th weekend...but we found one!
Neighbors, friends from Ireland, friends from Iowa, lots of faces... The kids went riding along the sea in  Dunfanaghy. Just great.
