Sunny in Dubuque, after a
night of rough thunder storms. A bit of the sun. Grandma and
Rachel are with us. Thanks for the photo, Jim. Some serious
foreshortening, though.

We stopped at a McDonalds for our last fast food for the
summer.

We have a few carry-ons. And
loads of checked baggage. How many shoes, Meg? And we
wrapped the new strimmer.

In line and waiting for our
seats. We were one of the first to check in.

After getting our boarding
cards, we proceeded along to security. Ahhh...we're getting
excited now.

Eliot enjoys the wait by
watching the movie Shanghai Noon with Jackie Chan. Sodas
from First Class Lounge.

Of course, while the
"rest" of us waited in sweaty, nasty crowds (well,
hardly) - Grandma and Phyl were escorted into the First
Class Lounge. Food, drink and newspapers. Nicest thing,
though, is the calm and quiet.

Carly with her dog, DOG, on the
Aer Lingus flight. Unfortunately, the video system was
broken and so there was NO movie. Awful.

Meg sleeps, Rachel hides, Carly
reads...

At the Dublin Airport, Michael
Ward met us and drove us home to Meenaleck. Here we are for
Irish McDonalds in Monaghan. Afterwards, we stopped in and
chatted with Helen, Michael's girlfriend.

Crowded...but we all fit on the
coach to Meenaleck. "Show us your dogs."

In the "kids" room.
Cleaning up and getting ready. Warm and shinny outside.

Meg checking the shampoo she
left here two summers ago. She doesn't like me to take her
picture, but like a good dad, I ignore her.
