Look who's married...for 25 years.

Phyl took the photo of my hair catching on fire, 25 years earlier at the reception, and pasted it all over my office door. 'Still smokin', she says.

When we got home from UD, Carly surprised us with this replica of our wedding cake. Cheech. Then we found out it was a group project. Omi asked Meg to get it done. Meg put the process in line and Carly finished it by picking it up and transporting it (very carefully) to 238 Beacon Hill. Whew. And good. Boy, it's great.

Carly designed a fancy wedding book based on our original pictures. Just fabulous. I think she had help from Jenna and Meg and others. Just amazing. Meg was at Cornell and Eliot was at the American Players Theatre, so they both wrote. What a day.

Liz and Hugh gave us a set of beautiful wine glasses. Here is Phyl, trying one out. We were going to go out, but Grandma had a pretty bad cold, so I got Chinese instead. Great dinner.

About those flowers. Well, I got them the night before. I figured why not? 26 roses should be enjoyed (one for good luck). Tia is scared by the balloon, of course. Phyl didn't mind the roses. Red, white with baby's breadth (like our wedding). Then I got some other colors, since our colors have grown and changed so much in the past 25 years. Me trying to be poetic.

How did I find Phyllis? Beautiful and fascinating. And, as it obvious, I still do.
